The 9 different types of Columbus hipsters and where to find them ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hello Thursday. It's James.

Ok, plenty of Crew news further down in the newsletter (it's drowning out all other local news), but for now, Zoey leads us off by telling us about the 9 different kinds of hipsters that exist in Columbus, and where to find them. (Hipster safari anyone?) Subgroup classification is always a pro click, and of course, all of this is delivered with love.

It's unclear when he will be vacating his seat, but it's difficult to imagine he is announcing this early and planning on serving out his term. Columbus Crew Relocation Roundup โšฝ๏ธSports Illustrated's Brian Straus weighs in: "Crew's Fabric is Interwoven With Columbus; If Precourt Can't See That, He Should Sell, Not Move" [Sports Illustrated]Dirty South Soccer calls it a betrayal, not business. [Dirty South Soccer]Precourt had been courting Austin for months - much of this seems to be a farce, even though he says he is looking at both cities concurrently. [Business First/Newpoff]Precourt was in Austin Wednesday touting Austin's as an "amazing opportunity." He reiterated that he is not seeking public money for a stadium, further rendering this entire situation bizarre. That statement makes it hard to understand what he is looking for from Columbus - assuming the move to Austin isn't already a done deal. [Dispatch/Erickson]MLS had not approved the move, with a source saying Precourt "went rogue." [@TwoUnitedFans]Finally, for the hardcore fans, Massive Report writes about dealing with the loss.
