Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.

I can honestly say that I never thought I'd be living through something like this pandemic. I know I'm not the only one who wakes up every day wondering when/how/if this will all get better. The effects of the pandemic have been radiating out into almost every part of our lives, and that certainly includes the lives of business owners here in Columbus. Sadly, we've had to say goodbye to some truly amazing local places who were unable to weather the storm this virus has unleashed. This list will be updated periodically, so if you find that a place you loved didn't make it on here, hit reply and we'll make sure they are included so we can all say a proper farewell.

If ever there was a year to indulge in a little comfort food, it's 2020. If you've had a hankering for a perfect chicken sandwich, Columbus has your back. Here are some of our favorites around the city.

If you're looking for a magical, Christmas-inspired adventure, look no further than the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Tickets for their Polar Express train have just gone on sale and they will absolutely sell out quickly. The railroad has implemented thorough cleaning and safety procedures to make sure that everyone stays healthy while having some holiday fun.

2+3x18 Decorative Arts Center Of Ohio

Sponsored by Decorative Arts Center Of Ohio and their exhibition 2+3x18 which is CLOSING SOON on October 25th: Rooted in tradition from the Byzantine, Medieval, and Renaissance eras, diptychs (two-paneled pieces) and triptychs (three-paneled pieces) have been used to tell stories through the ages. This exhibition features 18 contemporary Ohio artists who have used the diptych and triptych to create remarkable stories, some focused on personal experiences and others on a life-long interest or idea. It's a terrific exhibition and a lovely fall drive to Decorative Arts Center of Ohio - more info right here. 👩‍🎨🎨
