πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸ’¦ You Can Take Free SUP Yoga Classes At The Scioto Mile This Summer

Sponsored by Opera ColumbusThis Sunday, the Lincoln Theatre will fill with the beautiful sounds of Vanqui. Told through the eyes of the heroine, a 19th-century enslaved woman, you won't want to miss this touching story of love, triumph, and resilience.  Sung in English with English subtitles, this 90-minute performance can be seen at either 2:00 pm or 5:00 pm. Tickets are $20. Visit operacolumbus.org/vanqui/ for more information. 🎡

Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.

When I was growing up, The Scioto Mile wasn't exactly a destination. Cue the obligatory "back in my day"... but seriously, the changes made to the riverfront have been monumental in the last twenty years, and as a Columbus resident, I couldn't be happier about it. This summer, there will be all sorts of fun stuff happing down at the Scioto Mile. But the thing I'm looking forward to the most has to be the free stand-up paddleboard yoga classes. Let's get our balance on, Columbus!

We talked about Rush Creek Village a few weeks ago when one of the homes went up for sale, but it definitely deserves a closer look. It's so lovely.

I adore Pride weekend here in Columbus. Being an ally to my LGBTQ+ friends and family is so important to me and it's always wonderful to spend an entire weekend celebrating people who mean so much to me. This year, we'll be kicking off our Pride weekend at a Dolly Parton Look-A-Like contest and I couldn't be more excited.
