Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.
Good morning, people! I hope you all enjoyed that little sneak preview of spring we had yesterday! I've got some exciting breakfast news for you all this morning. If you're checking this email in the AM, let me suggest a little switch up to your daily routine. Hangover Easy opened their second Columbus location yesterday in Olde Towne East, and it is wonderful. From the food to the service, I was seriously impressed. It's got an old school diner vibe and it's 100% worth checking out.

Since July 2nd, 2018, the state of Ohio has been charging citizens $1.50 for the lamination of driver's licenses. This is a problem because since July 2nd, 2018
. More than $3 million has been improperly collected. The fee won't be going away now that the mistake has been discovered, instead, the fee will transition to being used for "additional document verification and scanning".
Not so bad? πΈπ
The recent changes to Short North parking may change this, but the amount of money Columbus makes in parking ticket revenue is pretty low compared to 24 other cities
. The most brutal city? Baltimore, which collects almost 16x as much ticket revenue, per capita, as Columbus.
