I'm a fan of big changes and beautiful buildings, which is why I was pretty stoked to go on a hardhat tour of Mitchell Hall, the newest addition to Columbus State's campus. The building will house the culinary and hospitality programs at CSCC and let me just tell you right now, it's breathtaking. If half of my classrooms had that much light in college, I would have been a much happier camper. They've still got a few weeks of construction left, but it's already easily one of the prettiest buildings I've ever seen. Plus, it's got killer views of Downtown Columbus from just about every window! 🌇

The Restoration Of The L. Hoster Brewing Company Building Is A Go

One of the most iconic buildings in the Brewery District is officially getting a makeover. Thanks to a little help, aka Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credits, the L. Hoster Brewing Co. complex will undergo a $70 million rehabilitation.

A Lack Of Common Sense 🇺🇸

Republicans in the Ohio legislature have yet to see a problem where "more guns" isn't the answer, and this continued yesterday as an Ohio House committee approved a bill that will allow Ohio citizens to

conceal carry firearms with no training or license

. Next, will be a full House vote, so if you have an opinion on the issue, now would be the time to share it with your representative. Putting aside all other problematic issues here, I have to wonder about the recent boom in concealed carry classes, particularly in rural Ohio. I assume passage of this bill would be the end of those cash cows.
