Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.

I've always been fascinated by midcentury modern architecture and when I saw a Lustron Home for the first time, I was instantly interested. I play a lot of video games and I was immediately reminded of the houses in a game called Fallout 4, a game I spent entirely too many hours playing. The reminder was for good reason because developers of the video games based their in-game homes on the pre-fabricated Lustron homes that became popular after World War II. Lustron homes were born right here in Columbus and very few remain fully intact. Luckily, this one near Dayton has been beautifully taken care of and you can check it out for yourself by booking a stay there.

I adore sunflowers. In my opinion, they really are the all-around best flower. They produce food, they offer cheer, plus they're gorgeous. So immersing myself in a giant field of them sounds pretty darn great. I don't want to wish one single week of summer away, but I can't wait for this festival!
