IKEA Columbus is ready for its close up. [Pictures]

The grand opening of IKEA Columbus is only days away and boy-oh-boy, am I excited! I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the store before the big day. The showroom was so fun to explore! I probably imagined how to redecorate each room of my house at least five different ways.And, don't worry, I took plenty of pictures. But I'll warn you now that they will make you even more excited for Wednesday, June 7 to roll around.

The Rundown:Weather: 76. 10% chance of rain. Mostly sunny.To do: Visit the Wells Barn at Franklin Park Conservatory for the 14th annual tasting event. Bash at the Barn will include food, drinks, and music. All proceeds go to a great cause and benefit the conservatory's adult learning initiatives. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will end at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person. Details.

You can find it at 19 East Gay St. They haven't hosted any grand opening festivities, but they're already getting a great lunch crowd. Right now they're open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. [CU/Sega]Coupon clippers and bargain shoppers rejoice! Kroger announced that they're cutting prices on a whole list of their name brand items. It's all in hopes of bringing customers back into the store, and keep them from going to competitors. Get deals on peanut butter, bread, paper towels, and oh so much more. [Dispatch/Evans]
