If there's one thing I love telling people about, it's great places to eat around Columbus. I've lived here my whole life and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I discover something new that I want to try about once every hour. On the menu today? Greek food. I love all things Mediterranean, especially baklava. As a matter of fact, I'm not ruling out a whole article based solely on baklava. But for now, we're focusing on the bigger picture, not just dessert. Who's ready to fall in love with some new restaurants?

Lately, I've been craving smaller shows. It's not that I don't enjoy the energy of a huge, arena concert, but sometimes, I want to feel a bit cozier when I'm rocking out. Luckily, Columbus has plenty of music venues that fit that bill.

Being young is full of tons of perks. Your skin is nice, your hair probably hasn't started turning gray, and things on your body haven't started randomly hurting for no apparent reason. A story broke yesterday that Crew ownership was
, potentially including the colors and the name, but that rumor was pulled back almost immediately, with the club confirming the colors would remain the same, and any alterations to the name would be minor. Certainly something to watch ahead of the new stadium's 2021 opening.

An Ending 💸
There was even more local breaking news yesterday. The other big story was that Les Wexner may be stepping away from L Brands and possibly selling Victoria's Secret. Wexner is 82 years old and one of the longest termed CEOs in America. If something happens, it may happen quickly, with reports saying L Brands wants a decision and succession plan finalized in the next few weeks.

Gentrification Is Everywhere 🚙
Whitehall has recently been
at a furious pace, which means the next steps will be familiar ones aimed at further "upgrading" the community. An early example sees Whitehall leadership trying to ban parking on unimproved surfaces (i.e. gravel/dirt/grass areas and driveways). The mayor says the ordinance is necessary due to a "proliferation of backyard junkyards", and while it seems minor to ask people not to park in grass, I find it interesting to watch this sort of thing play out over and over as areas start climbing the property value ladder.

Shermund was one of the first women cartoonists to work for The New Yorker.
