Happy 2020! Chelsea here.
Welcome to the 20s, my friends. It feels so weird even saying it out loud, but I'm sure we'll all get used to it. I hope you all had a fantastic end to your year and that your holidays were filled with love and joy. I feel so grateful to have spent the last year with you all and I'm looking forward to what we're getting up to in 2020. We've got some exciting stuff planned, fam! If you're hoping to kick the new year off with a little self-improvement, I'm right there with you. There are so many classes and workshops around the city that offer us new and exciting ways to learn and grow. If you're in need of a few suggestions, as usual, we've got them.

The midwest isn't just a region, it's a lifestyle. From junk drawers to 45-minute goodbyes to measuring distance in time instead of miles, we've all got a lot in common. I can guarantee that without a doubt, you will relate to more than a few of these hilarious tweets.

Fly Away โ๏ธ
The year-round Columbus-Seattle route has done well enough that Alaska Airlines will be adding a second, seasonal daily nonstop flight. The flight will operate June 18 through Aug. 17.

Some good news to kick off 2020: Governor DeWine has informed the Trump administration that Ohio is ready, willing, and able to accept more refugees. States were asked to publicly declare if they were willing to place refugees because of a September executive order put into place by the Trump administration. Ohio has a long and successful track record of settling refugees - Columbus is home to the second largest Somali refugee population in America, as well as significant numbers of Nepali-Bhutanese refugees.

It's possible you've had enough of year end lists, but one came out during Navigator's break that I had to link - the Book Loft's best selling books of 2019, as well as their list of the best books of the year.
