If You Can Take the 🔥 Get INTO the Kitchen: The Best Cooking Classes in Columbus

Columbus Navigator Logo

Happy Thursday, It's Tracie.

Real talk.  When I first met my husband, I wanted to impress him with a gourmet meal that I cooked. But, having relied heavily on prepared foods from the grocery store deli, I didn't have a repertoire of delicious meals at the ready.  This resulted in my making him a stuffing sandwich...two pieces of bread, with Stove Top stuffing inside. And I think some cheese. Carbs for the win! Let's all agree that he didn't marry me for my cooking. ❤️

With Valentine's Day approaching, it might be nice to make a romantic, home cooked meal for your sweetheart.  And obviously, I need some help in that department. If you do too, here's an updated list of cooking classes that are more Ina Garten, and less Gordon Ramsay.

Thursday Weather 🌡Partly sunny 😎 with a high near 25.  The forecast is calling for a wet weekend ahead.

The opposite has happened, mostly due to the growing immigrant population and their collaboration, pooling resources to fulfill dreams.

Locals call it "The Bexley Bubble," to others, it's an island. [WOSU]The Hilltop is another area of town that could be considered an island, a deserted island.  Since the close of the GM facility , the west side enclave is full of closed businesses. This year, west Columbus flagship Hollywood Casino has partnered with Summer Jam West to host their annual sculpture, dedicated to strengthening the Hilltop revitalization. Longread It used to be when people brought up Gwyneth Paltrow, her movies came to mind.  Or maybe her love life. Possibly the interesting monikers she chose for her children.  Now though, her name is synonymous with her controversial "wellness" brand, GOOP. In a time where science and facts can be confused with "science" and "facts," or altogether ignored, Dr. Jen Gunter attended a GOOP Health event and has ALL the thoughts in a hilarious takedown of Paltrow's company's principles. Gunter: In GOOP Health: Wellness Panem Style
