MORPC might be throwing Columbus for a [hyper]loop ๐๐ ๐
Happy Thursday, it's Tracie.
So, it's within reason to believe that in the very near future, you'll be able to travel from Columbus to Chicago in just 29 minutes. In a pod. Through a tube. ๐
I know, this is some futuristic conjecture, but since Columbus won the Smart City Challenge (one of just 10 cities globally), the feasibility study is set to kickoff soon, which will take about 9 months to complete. And after a follow up environmental study lasting 18 months, you could be a "pod person" by 2022.

Longread ๐ฅBlack Panther is the first Marvel movie with both a black director and a predominantly black cast. It also features women, black women, as fierce, independent and strong warriors. It's also just a really badass movie. Black people are shockingly under represented in film, so while it seems long past due, for a major motion picture from a headlining studio and franchise to feature the story of Black Panther, it's monumental. Not to take away from the message and the cultural significance of the film, but to expound on its greatness, this article takes a look at the internet fervor over just how thirsty the public is for these groundbreaking actors.Buzzfeed: A Deep Dive Into the Marvelous Black Panther Thirst
