Things are moving quickly for the new Columbus Arena Football League team. A schedule

has been announced

(the season starts April 27; the first home game will be played May 18th) and season ticket deposits are

being collected

. The deposits guarantee a spot in line for when tickets actually go on sale. ... Columbus Crew have signed a much-improved television deal compared to what they've been dealing with in recent years under Anthony Precourt. The new deal is multi-year and

will see the team on Fox Sports Ohio

, along with a 30-minute pregame and postgame show. The entire production should be more modern compared to the previous deal with Spectrum, a company that mostly deals with high school sports.

Cafe Illyria is located downtown, and down some stairs - it's on the lower level of a building on State Street. Very cozy little spot that looks worth checking out.
