Happy Thursday! It's Chelsea.

There's literally nothing I love more than a good, old movie. Which is sad for me because my husband literally refuses to watch anything that was made before 1960. Luckily for me, films are the perfect solo activity. This year, one of my all-time favorite Christmas movies is playing on the big screen, and I couldn't be more excited. Luckily for those of you who, like my husband, prefer your movies in Technicolor, there are some more recent hits playing in theatres as well. Pro tip: if you see something you like on the list, don't hesitate to buy tickets. They sell out so fast!

This sounds like a really cool project, and hopefully a good use of the space. It's comforting to know that the area around Mapfre isn't going to end up looking like the former Anderson's/Scarborough Mall area on the east side. Announcements on the new stadium coming today at noon.

Columbus lost one of the greats yesterday. Chris Bradley was such a beam of sunshine, and our city will be a little less bright without him. I was a huge fan of the work he did. In fact, one time he shouted out to me during a Weather Geek session on Facebook and I was so excited that I literally told everyone I know for a week that it happened. He'll be sorely missed.

Delicious cocktails and beautiful Christmas decor. What more could you want? Seriously though, doesn't that bar look gorgeous?

Talking Points โค๏ธ

No one loves Taco Bell more than I do...

Except for maybe one of the most talented chefs in Columbus. Avishar Barua, the genius behind the menu at Service Bar, is getting some national attention for one of the most delicious items on his menu: a Taco Bell inspired Cheesy Brisket Crunch. I think we all know where to get dinner tonight.

Books, books, and more books...

The owner of the Village Bookshop announced the impending closure of the beloved bookstore months ago, but the doors haven't quite been shuttered. Due to large inventories, the shop is still open, which means there's still time to get your hands on some new reading material.

The Columbus housing market is getting more and more competitive...

If you've been house hunting recently, you know that the market has changed. Especially if you're on the hunt for a fixer-upper. As the cost of renting continues to rise, it's created a bit of a "gold rush" when it comes to buying homes, and industry insiders are starting to feel the pressure.
