It's no secret that Columbus is booming right now. Big changes are to be expected, and yet, I still found myself surprised by the newest proposed development downtown. The Whittier Peninsula, aka the home of my favorite park in Columbus, may end up looking insanely different than it does right now. The proposal includes plans for a 30-story, mixed-use project. It's a stark contrast from the nature-filled Scioto Audubon Metro Park and I'm interested to see if the design undergoes any changes in the future.

It's still very early in the college basketball season, but Ohio State's men's team is the #6 team in the country and they're now 8-0 after beating #7 North Carolina last night. It was a thumping, with the Buckeyes winning by 25 - and on the road no less. The defense looks elite, and this looks like a team built for a deep run in March.
