Good morning, friends! Can you all believe it’s already mid-December? I can’t. This year has absolutely zoomed on by, but hey, maybe that’s a good thing! I always get excited about the New Year. I’m one of those people who uses it as a reset button. But before we close out 2018, there are still some very cool things happening around the city. Specifically on December 29. The Columbus Foundation is having an EPIC celebration for their 75th anniversary called ‘The Big Explore’. End your year by visiting some of Columbus’ best attractions for free, courtesy of the Columbus Foundation. Plus, there’s $.75/scoop Jeni’s and free COTA rides involved. The Geminid Meteor shower kicked off last night, and there were some absolute stunners. If you didn't get outside, don't worry. The shower will peak late tonight, around 2 a.m. (12/14) Seriously though, there was one that was so intense that it prompted James to text me and tell me to get myself outdoors! Worth it.

Feeding the meter has never been so easy...

The city has rolled out a new program allowing people to pay some parking meters in the Short North via the new ParkColumbus app. No more hauling butt to your car to throw a few more quarters in, people! Rejoice.
