If you haven't made dinner plans yet today, don't stress about it. I have the perfect suggestion. There are some truly delightful fried chicken joints around this town, serving up perfectly crispy, flavorful food. Get out there and treat yourself to something yummy, friends.

It's one of my favorite weekends of the entire year: the Dublin Irish Festival. I grew up going to the fest with my family and it's a great way to spend a summer day. My favorite part of the entire festival has to be the Celtic Canines, aka an entire area devoted to dogs, where you can meet all sorts of incredible pups.

Sponsored by Decorative Arts Center of OhioA new exhibit from the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio will highlight photography from Depression-era photographers as well as contemporary photographers documenting the COVID-19 pandemic. Chronicles: The Great Depression and the Pandemic features photography from these two important times in history, comparing them while also engaging patrons with photography from regional sites including Lancaster, Fairfield County, and throughout Ohio. A theme throughout is the resilience of the American people as they tackle the trials and tribulations placed before them. The show will run through August 28, 2022.
