DeWine Takes (Some) Action 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Governor Mike DeWine issued an executive order creating a "school safety center" that will act as a resource for schools and students in Ohio. The initiative will monitor social media for threats, create a tip line, serve as a clearinghouse for training information, and more.

Columbus Police 🚨

A consulting study has found that Columbus police has a "significant disparity of use of force against minority residents". It sounds as if the department has a problem internally as well, with 70% of black police employees saying they have witnessed dscrimination within the police department.
