I'm not sure if you all have caught on yet, but I've been craving a vacation. But sometimes, that's just not in the cards. Whether you don't feel safe traveling due to COVID-19 or you just don't have the budget for a week out of town, not taking a vacation can be a real bummer. That's why I'm here to suggest a staycation. You can order takeout from your favorite local restaurants, explore downtown Columbus, and just take a break from your home for a few days. I recently took a mini-staycation (more coming on that next week!) and I can't recommend it enough. Here are some fantastic hotel options if you're looking to get a little fancy for a few days here in Columbus.

Our Columbus Blue Jackets were eliminated yesterday from the NHL playoffs in overtime 5-4 by the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Blue Jackets fell in just five games, but the series was much closer than that might sound, with all five games decided by just one goal. And, of course, there was the game one five-overtime marathon that
. It's hard to be disappointed with the season, however, with the Blue Jackets getting their second-ever playoff series win in a season that saw them make the playoffs for the fourth straight year. Hopefully, this offseason will lead to them taking the next step.
