Festival Season Is Upon Us ๐ Here Are The Best Spring Festivals ๐ธ๐

Happy Thursday, it's Tracie.
I think we can all agree that Spring weekends in Columbus are the best. It's not yet sweaty as all get out, you can enjoy a drink on a patio and enjoy the fact that it's still light outside past 8 pm. Really, we're living the dream this time of year (when it's not raining of course).
What's better than the aforementioned activities? A festival of course! Experiencing different types of food, feeding off the atmosphere of a lively crowd, live music. Perfection! We've found a festival for the rest-iv-al (๐) from now until June. Gluten-free food fest? โ. Pork fest? โ. Pun Fest? Okay, fine, that doesn't exist...yet.

Longread Disney and it's affiliated characters (Marvel, Pixar, etc.) are almost an essential part of childhood. I remember being so excited every time a new animated film came out when I was younger, and I see that same excitement in my own kids today. My friend Henry adored Disney movies so much that he'd recite the lines verbatim ๐ฆ. And while I love how the messages are changing (hello, choosing familial love over romantic love in Frozen), Disney is a timeless constant. ๐ฐBut that's not to say that it's all birds chirping and turning rags into fancy dresses a la Cinderella. Even the idea of going to Disney World/Land seems like it might be more stress than it's worth. And how do you know the best age to take your kids?๐ฎ If you're spending upwards of $5,000 you want to make sure they'll remember the experience, but if you wait too long, your adolescent kids will roll their eyes the whole time. Here's one family's experience on a Bahamian Disney cruise that'll make you think before taking the plunge. ๐ข The New York Times: On A Disney Cruise, It's A Stressful World (After All)
