Head to Hocking Hills for this quirky Airstream festival π²π²π²

Hello Thursday. It's James.
You shouldn't really need an excuse to head to Hocking Hills (just about anytime is a good time to go), but a festival next week in Logan is going to give you one anyway.
More than 75 vintage Airstream trailers will be showing up for a three day festival that is sure to be adorable. Logan is even blocking off street traffic so you can better peruse the iconic trailers on display. If you need any more incentive, I have one word for you: moonshine. Get more details on the festival at the link.

Navigator Originals βοΈYou Could Be An Extra In An Upcoming Columbus Indie Hockey Film πThis is an interesting project, especially for local hockey fans. Steph Greegor covered the Blue Jackets for five seasons for Fox Sports Ohio, and is using that experience to make a movie about an aging hockey player hoping to hang on for one more chance at winning the Stanley Cup. Filming will take place around Columbus, and extras are being solicited in a GoFundMe campaign.
Around Town πIf you're a long time reader here, you'll know that my favorite local blog is Breakfast With Nick. The visits to new restaurants are gold, but I also really enjoy when he revisits restaurants, which he recently did with Wildflower Cafe, in Clintonville. It's a place that will feel familiar, even if you've never been. [Breakfast With Nick] π»More restaurant discussion: 614Now checked out east side Italian restaurant Scali and came away impressed. [614Now] πDid you know Columbus only had one bidder for its new 5 year trash and recycling contract? Rumpke has taken advantage, nearly doubling the price since the last go round in 2012. Given wages in general are stagnant and fuel costs haven't increased, it's an interesting thought experiment to wonder why a nearly 100% increase would be appropriate. [WOSU] πOne of the last independent video rental stores in Columbus is calling it quits. Video Central on Bethel has existed for more than 30 years, but will close at the end of April. There are some central Ohio Family Videos remaining - apart from RedBox I think they might be the only way to rent movies in Columbus at this point? [Dispatch/Feran] πΌ
