Hello, Thursday! Chelsea here.

I thought we'd kick things off this morning with a little daydreaming. We've got the time, right? We've showcased a lot of Dream Homes here at Columbus Navigator, but it's important to remember that the perfect house doesn't have to be a mansion with a 7 figure price tag. Sometimes, charming and cozy abodes are the dreamiest homes of all. This house is simple, elegant, and inviting, three things I think we can all get behind.

Both Mayor Ginther and Gov. DeWine stressed the importance of not rushing into re-opening the city and state. While the curve does appear to have been flattened by measures put in place, both officials noted that we're not out of the woods yet.

Want to know a little more about the literal heroes who had the idea to decontaminate masks for hospitals across the country? Now is your chance. Let me introduce you to Kevin and Dr. Lauri Hommema. Talk about #couplegoals.

Earth Day at Northstar Cafe is one of my favorite days of the whole year. I get to smash a delicious veggie burger, hang out with my friends, and spend the day thinking about all the ways that Mother Earth has my back. This year, the celebration will be a little different, but it's all for a worthy cause.

Talking Points ❤️

"Just The Flu" 💉

I'm sure by now you've come across people, either online or in-person, determined to argue that COVID-19 is just hyped-up flu. This very short article includes a graph that explains why this is different in an incredibly clear, easy-to-understand way. I've been on board with taking this all very seriously, but even still, this drove home the necessity of what we are going through right now. I don't try to sell these links too hard every day, all of you will find some things interesting, some things not, but I can't really recommend clicking this enough - it's one of the most useful things I've read about all of this going all the way back to January.

Those links are heavy, so we have to end with something lighter. I love this, and all efforts like this.
