Hello, Wednesday! Chelsea here.
Once upon a time, Columbus had its own mini version of the Seven Wonders of the World, right in a west side parking lot. The Walk O’ Wonders at the Great Western Shopping Center was a quirky, larger-than-life attraction featuring replicas of landmarks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Taj Mahal, and even a fully functional Niagara Falls. It was a must-see for locals, but like so many oddball gems in Columbus history, it eventually met its fate… in the name of a parking lot.
