We did it, guys! We made it through the week and even though it was only four days for some of us, it’s still worth celebrating. There’s so much going on around town this weekend, but before we all start making future plans, I want to take a little moment to appreciate the past. Columbus wouldn’t be what it is today without a forgotten waterway: the canal. It’s so weird to think about any waterway in this city being more than just a scenic spot, but you can tell from old photos just how important the canal system was to the city in it’s early years.
