Hello, Thursday! Chelsea, here.

There’s something about watching movies outside that just hits differently. I grew up going to the drive-in, and it still has a special place in my heart, but watching a movie in the middle of downtown Columbus with the skyline glowing behind the screen is its own kind of magic. NightLight at Genoa Park is one of my favorite summer traditions in the city. It’s easy, it’s fun, and it somehow turns a regular Thursday into something you actually look forward to. Tickets go on sale tonight, and they will very likely sell out quickly. We’ve got all the details, and the full line-up (it’s crazy good) below.

🍴 Longtime Short North Favorite Woodhouse Vegan Is Closing
Woodhouse Vegan in the Short North has announced it will close its café operations later this summer after about 10 years in business. The longtime plant-based favorite says the closure is part of a broader transition as the team looks toward what’s next.

🦅 You Can See Bald Eagles Nesting Right Here In Columbus
A bald eagle nest just off Dublin Road offers one of the easiest wildlife viewing spots in Columbus, especially during nesting season. From February through June, visitors can often catch a glimpse of eagles and eaglets along the Scioto River.

Despite funding setbacks, groups like Green Columbus are still planting and maintaining trees across neighborhoods with the goal of hitting 40% canopy coverage by 2050. (WOSU)

There’s so much happening around Columbus this month that it’s hard to know where to start. It’s a great month to be a sports fan (Crew, Clippers, CBJ, Aviators, OSU Spring Game, and more), but there’s also plenty of concerts, theatre performances, and so much more. Have a great April, Columbus!
