🤝 TOGETHER WITH NORTH MARKET
North Market has been feeding Columbus, bringing people together, and giving us an excuse to wander around looking at food we absolutely did not plan to buy for 150 years. From its beginnings in 1876 to its two locations today, North Market has weathered fires, construction, economic ups and downs, and a whole lot of hungry Columbus residents. Now it’s celebrating 150 years of local businesses, good food, and being one of those places that just feels like Columbus. Here’s to another 150! For more info, head over to northmarket.org.
Hello, Wednesday! Chelsea, here.
Every once in a while, you end up at a restaurant and realize the place has been here forever. Like, forever forever. Long enough that your parents could have gone there, your grandparents might have gone there, and there's a decent chance the person sitting at the next table has been ordering the same thing since before you were born. There's something really cool about that kind of staying power, especially in a city that loves tearing things down and putting something new in its place. So today, we're taking a look at some of the oldest restaurants in Columbus and the stories behind the places that have managed to stick around.

🐒 Meet the newest (and possibly cutest) little face at the Columbus Zoo. 🐒🧡 This tiny silvered langur was born July 30, and that bright orange baby fur is basically impossible to resist. It won’t last forever, so this is your excuse to go see her while she’s still rocking the pumpkin-colored look.
