Metro Parks is going full cozy mode this December with twinkling light displays at five parks, plus lantern walks, hot chocolate, and the start of the annual Winter Hikes series. You can stroll anytime from 5 to 8 p.m., get your hike card stamped, and work your way toward that coveted winter patch. If you need a little sparkle with your steps, this is your moment.

European Christmas markets have been charming crowds for centuries with their wooden chalets, warm drinks, and all-out holiday magic. And this time next year, we won’t need a passport to experience it! Dublin’s own Christkindlmarkt is officially on the way for 2026.

There were some technical difficulties sharing this story last week, so we wanted to give everyone a chance to hop aboard the holiday season. There are some spectacular holiday train rides around Ohio, complete with elves, great views, holiday treats, and even Santa himself.

🎉 It’s a season of giving and around here, that means a season of giveaways! Today, we’re giving away a car pass for Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights. It’s fantastic holiday tradition, especially when it’s too cold to actually get out of the car! Load up the snacks and get ready to drive through a twinkling wonderland.

So how do you enter? It couldn’t be easier! Simply hit reply to this email with the codeword: TWINKLE. Good luck!
