It’s officially the end of an era on West Broad Street. The old Spaghetti Warehouse building is gone, and now we’re getting our first look at what’s replacing it: a sleek, two-building development called The Macklin. It’s modern, it’s massive (though smaller than originally proposed), and yes, it has a rooftop pool. With 250 apartments, retail space, and a new pedestrian plaza in the works, this stretch of Broad is about to look (and feel) a whole lot different.
