I suppose it's inevitable that certain large-scale projects will fail and create modern-day ruins, but it still always feels like such a waste when you really see it, as you do in this very up close and personal look at the state of Geauga Lake today.

I think the headliner for this season will be

Frozen

, but there are many other great shows coming to Columbus - I'm personally excited to see

Come From Away

This pairs well with our #1 up there - if you've never read about this it'll probably blow your mind to see all the amusement parks that have called Columbus home, especially given the fact that we have zero today.

I'm a believer that every family should have a special restaurant that is a go-to for celebrating achievements and good moments in life. Traditions like that matter so much, and so much the better if you have more than one at different price points - quick & casual for smaller celebrations and fancier spots for the truly big life moments. This list will give you a bunch of good ideas for the latter.

With coronavirus fears, it's possible we should have made a list of the best movies on Netflix for March, but if you're operating as normal here are the high points for Columbus in March. The weather is already turning - Sunday should be a beautiful day.

Barbara Shermund

Sponsored by Decorative Arts Center of Ohio: The 2020 season has kicked off with the exhibition Tell Me a Story Where the Bad Girl Wins: The Life & Art of Barbara Shermund. Starting in 1925, Shermund contributed nine covers and hundreds of cartoons to the New Yorker, and later became a celebrated mainstay at Esquire. Her cartoons had a fierce and feminist electricity rarely seen in that era of male dominated cartooning. The show runs through April 26th and you can find more details right hereπŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I don't think I have much to add to this one, except to say wow. I'm continually amazed at the drone photography scene in Columbus.  It looks like can buy prints of this one (and his other shots)
