Columbus has to be one of the largest cities in America lacking a theme park, no? Not that it's something to complain about with the two that are within driving distance, but it's interesting to look at what might have been.

It's difficult for me to mentally adjust to the reality that this is now entry-level price in some of our more well-heeled areas.

An interesting side effect to Amazon demolishing retail, is that certain new styles of retail grow in the cracks. These mega-used bookstores are popping up so that Amazon third-party booksellers can unload their inventory that isn't suitable for selling via the Amazon platform. Ironically, those sorts of books are the sorts of books that regular consumers are more likely to want anyway: think best sellers and airport reads. I feel conflicted about Amazon in general, but I'll take viable bookstores however we can get them.
