5 Amazing Fall Hikes To Take Around Columbus ๐๐

Happy Monday! Chelsea, here.
When the weekend started on Friday, it was hot and windy. While it's not the worst combination of weather, it's certainly not my favorite. Luckily, this is Ohio, so if you want something different, you usually don't have to wait too long. As a lover of all things autumn, you can imagine my giddiness when I woke up to a crisp, fall day on Saturday. It's official, the happiest time of the year has arrived and I'm beyond ready to start enjoying it. I love getting out and seeing the colorful leaves, grabbing a hot beverage, and shooting some photos of our city. But hands down, there's nothing better to celebrate fall than to just go out and enjoy nature. Here's a couple of beautiful walks to get you started. ๐๐ถโโ๏ธ

If you've been searching for an urban castle with the perfect porch for people watching and an attic nook that's cozy AF, then you've come to the right place. If you haven't, you should still check out this one of a kind Victorian Village mansion.

So maybe wine delivery isn't your thing? What about amazing restaurants to eat and drink? Columbus had two restaurants named by OpenTable in the Top 100 for Wine Lovers in America.

Mike DeWine and Richard Cordray held the first of three gubernatorial debates last week, and here's a quick recap of what transpired. This has quickly become a surprisingly nasty race. [WOSU/Chow] ๐บ๐ธOhio State demolished Tulane on Saturday, but the star of the show was 100 year old alum (and World War II veteran) Anthony Violi, who dotted the i at half time. Violi previously played trumpet in OSU's marching band from 1937 (!) to 1942. You can watch video of the event here. [Eleven Warriors] ๐บColumbus School Board named Talisa Dixon the new Columbus City Schools superintendent. She comes to Columbus from Cleveland Heights-University Heights. [WOSU/Evans] ๐This vintage gas station / restaurant located an hour northeast of Columbus is really adorable. After checking out the pictures I think you'll agree with me when I say it looks very worthy of a road trip. [Lakes and Lattes] ๐ฐ
