The 8 best drives in Ohio to see the fall foliage πŸ‚

Hello Monday. It's James.

Hopefully everyone has recovered from that Ohio State game on Saturday. Brutal, right?

We've kind of entered the quiet before the Christmas storm here in central Ohio. Things are a bit different this year, with fall coming a little later, so we are still enjoying the fall foliage. It won't be long before all the leaves are down, so you'll want to check out these fall foliage road trip possibilities ASAP. Although, all of these trips would be great virtually year round (maaaaaybe not deep winter for a few of these, but otherwise.)

Around Town 🏘Ohio State is contemplating playing some basketball games at St. John's Arena. Long time OSU fans will know that the atmosphere at St. John's was intense compared to Schottenstein Arena. I have to wonder if Ohio State would take back the building of the Schott at this point. It completely removed what was once a formidable home field advantage for basketball, and it's overkill for college hockey. I'm sure the event money is nice, but is that worth the negatives? [Eleven Warriors]An effort to eliminate the death penalty in Ohio has Republican backers. The death penalty, even putting aside the normal pros and cons of the debate, has been a mess in recent years. The drugs used have routinely been unavailable to states, and many people are increasingly concerned with innocent people being sentenced to die, since this has demonstrably been happening. Two Republicans are co-sponsors of the latest bill to end the practice in Ohio. [Dispatch/Henry]The Columbus Crew lost 2-0 to NYC FC, but advanced to the Conference Championship round on the aggregate (4-3, thanks to their first Leg 4-1 win.) They are one of the last four MLS teams alive, and will face Toronto next. They'll have a home game Tuesday, November 21st at 8 PM. [ESPN FC]
