Being from southern Ohio I've had to become educated on just what a cult fave Swenson's is for you northeasterners.

After visiting the new Sawmill Rd. location on Friday, I think I get it. The entire experience is charming, and the food was great, even allowing that it's a soft open ahead of the official November 9th open date. Get all the details plus photos at the link below, and if you make a visit the hot fudge milkshake is pretty worth it.

Columbus Vice Police investigation continues ....

Another CPD vice detective has been forced to turn in his badge and gun, this time because of information revealed in the ongoing FBI investigation. Steve Rosser was involved in the arrest of Stormy Daniels and has already been sued for targeting Daniels due to his conservative political beliefs. 10TV recently reported that Rosser and other vice detective have spent thousands of dollars on lap dances and alcohol since 2017.

The Schott is ready for its close-up ...

At the Elton John concert Friday night (he was in fine form - Chelsea cried), the $34 million renovation of the Schottenstein Center was very apparent. It's a beautiful update, featuring new lighting, new paint, better signage, a new team shop, new food court, and loads of fantastic small details all the way down to the wall graphics. Here's a short video tour from the OSU basketball program.

The Greater Columbus Antique Mall in the Brewery District is safe for now ...

The building will not be destroyed in favor of a fast food restaurant, following a decision by Schiff Properties to not pursue the site.
