Easton: An Enchanted Holiday Season

Sponsored by Easton Town Center. For over 20 years, Easton has brought families and friends together to celebrate the magic of the holidays. While things may look differently this year, we hope you’ll visit and experience an enchanted holiday season at Easton. Easton's number one priority is keeping guests and workers safe.

Happy Monday! Chelsea here.

The emotional, physical, and mental stress that the pandemic has taken on our front-line healthcare workers cannot be understated. As our hospital employees are working so hard to treat our fellow Ohioans, it's important to remember that they're only human too. That's why I'm so glad that hospital employees like Shiloh exist. You see, Shiloh is one of four therapy dogs at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and his whole job is to offer comfort to those who are doing their best to keep us safe and healthy right now. Shiloh has become quite the social media celebrity, but we're pretty sure he won't let it go to his head.

Despite having roughly the same population as Cleveland or Cincinnati, Columbus has seen far fewer beds available for hospitalized patients. Take a closer look at the data behind the hospital capacity here in Ohio.

Coronavirus Updates 💊

I'm starting to wonder

what value there is in daily case counts when the data is marked as thoroughly backlogged. What's been reported, with thousands of cases still pending: 7,729 new cases, 245 hospitalizations, and 21 newly reported deaths.

If you own a business

, or know a business owner, the state of Ohio is now providing COVID-19 related signage.

.  I doubt it would eliminate all conflict or all confrontations, but it’s gotta be nice as a business owner to be able to say "sorry about that, just following orders" as you point to a sign. (Department of Health)
