BrewDog Should Buy The Columbus Crew β½οΈπΊ
Hello Monday. It's James.
Columbus Crew relocation news has been relentlessly negative. Heroic measures are being taken by Crew fans, but events in Austin have not been promising.
Enter BrewDog founder James Watt. His social media activity in recent days has been very interesting, and has already led to a meeting with Mayor Ginther.
The only question remaining with Crew owner Anthony Precourt at this point seems to be: is he a soccer fan determined to take an MLS team to Austin? Or is he only fumbling around, looking to make a buck? We might have a shot if it's the latter, because a Columbus Partnership bid spearheaded by someone like BrewDog could actually be feasible. This is an outlandish idea, for sure, but check this out, see what Watt has been saying, and see how this might actually be possible.

Imagine this: instead of waiting in line forEVER to see a mall santa, you get to sit down and eat pancakes and bacon until it's your kid's turn to tell the big man what they want for Christmas.
Around Town πOhio State continued their bipolar season, dominating Michigan State 48-3. Surprisingly, they are still well alive for the college football playoffs. They need help, of course, but it's not as far fetched as you might have thought after the Buckeyes loss to Iowa. 62% chance according to 538. [538]Ohio State fans had some fun during the O-H-I-O chant Saturday, making fun of the recent Apple ios 11 glitch that saw the letter 'i' turned into the A[?] that iPhone users have been seeing. See it here. [Twitter]This may come as a surprise: Ohio suspends K-3rd grade children more than 30,000 times a year. Some were for fairly serious offenses, even for kids that young, but about half were merely for "disruptive" behavior and disobedience. A bill introduced this week in the Ohio Statehouse could see suspensions banned for kids that young. [Plain-Dealer/O'Donnell]
