Hello, Monday! Chelsea here.

Welcome back to another week, Columbus! Although summer doesn’t technically start for a few weeks yet, I think we can all admit that the unofficial start to summer kicks off this weekend. We’ve got some great summer adventures below, but before we dig into all of that, we’ve got to take time to talk about some delicious eateries around town. Specifically, the ones offering a buffet option for lunch and dinner. Get out there and eat something yummy, my friends!

💦 6 Quarries Around Ohio Where You Can Go Swimming This Summer
I’m a sucker for a beautiful swimming hole, and no one does it quite like a quarry. With crystal clear water and sandy beaches, some of these spots are down right tropical feeling and they’re definitely worth exploring this summer.

Headlines 📰

🌲 Poison hemlock has spread widely in central Ohio over the past few years. It's one of the deadliest plants in North America, which means you should know how to recognize it and handle it if you find it in your own yard. (Axios)

👍 The Ohio History Connection will reopen Ohio Village for the summer season Saturday, May 25, with a full-day Exposition that reflects on the 50 years since its founding and looks forward to the next 50 years of storytelling in the living-history community. See you there! (Ohio History)

🍻 The Extension is the latest bar from Land-Grant. The bar sits next to the Gravity Experience Park, aka the smash-hit, ice bumper cars, public art, and outdoor seating. For the warmer months, the park has been converted to pickleball and basketball courts. (Breakfast With Nick)

☀️ Weather: 90 and sunny

Sponsored by Columbus Symphony 🎵
Mozart’s sublime Mass in C minor was, like his Requiem, left unfinished at the time of his death. Numerous scholars have published reconstructions of the work. The edition used for these concerts is a new completion by German musicologist Ulrich Leisinger, premiered in Germany in 2019. Join the Columbus Symphony for a wonderful evening of iconic music.
Tickets start at $10.
