We're back for another week my friends. That weekend weather was so gorgeous and I hope you all got out and made the best of it. You all probably know by now that I'm a sucker for mid-century modern anything, so you can bet that when I heard that a 1959 motel is getting a renovation in the Brewery District, I was all over that news. If you've ever seen Schitt's Creek, you'll understand how I fully expected Moira Rose to appear in these photos at any moment. This motel has so much potential and I can't wait to see how the project shakes out.

Last year, just before the pandemic started, we talked about this Bob Ross painting class. Now that things are slowly returning to normal, this one of a kind workshop is back again, this time at 400 W Rich in Franklinton.

I grew up going to the Great Western Shopping Center. But I never knew that there used to be an homage to the Seven Wonders of the World in the parking lot. Long before my time, the shopping center was home to the Walk O' Wonders, an incredible exhibit that showcased replicas of some of the world's most iconic spots, including the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, Niagara Falls, and even the Grand Canyon.
