The Mix Charcoal Kitchen Has An Insanely Unique Menu... Including Stewed Camel π½

Happy Monday! Chelsea here.
Welcome back to another week, my friends. I hope you all survived the time change this weekend, and that you enjoyed that sunset that didn't happen until 7:30! I hate giving up an hour of sleep, but it may have been worth it. We're kicking this week off with a food adventure. So get out of the comfort zone, put on your eating pants, and be prepared to try something new. Malini Swank visited Columbus' only Peruvian-Somalian restaurant and she's got a lot to tell you about.

A Silver Lining π½
The Arnold Classic being (mostly) closed to spectators and the expo being canceled left organizers with a ton of food and nobody to eat it. It didn't go to waste, however, as the event was able to send the meals to first responders and tornado victims in Nashville.

The Humble Pawpaw π³
Everyone who has spent some time tramping around in Ohio's woods knows all about the pawpaw, but it's a mystery to many Americans. This wasn't always the case - in 1916 it was voted the American fruit most likely to succeed, ahead of blueberries and cranberries. This episode of a podcast called Gastropod talks about the history of the pawpaw, the annual
that takes place near Athens, and how the pawpaw is primed for a revival.

I really enjoyed this article about
, a local carpentry & design company that has put their products into many of the local places you probably know and love, like Hot Chicken Takeover, Native Cold Pressed, Rockmill Tavern, North Market, and Fox In The Snow.
