Happy Eclipse Day, friends! I sincerely hope that you all have the best day: no traffic, perfect weather, and great viewing conditions. I’m sure that I don’t have the power to make all of that happen, but I’m putting out the good vibes anyways. In case you missed our eclipse themed content, I’m going to link some stories below. Ohio is home to some truly incredible caves and caverns, and there’s no better example of that underground majesty than Ohio Caverns.

Over the years, we’ve talked a lot about of the stunning mansions that are missing from Columbus, the one’s that have been bulldozed for parking lots and skyscrapers alike. But today, I thought we’d celebrate a gorgeous old home that’s still standing! The Allen G. Thurman home is truly a beauty and even though it doesn’t act as a residence anymore, it’s still standing, looking gorgeous over Rich Street.
