Happy Monday! Chelsea here.
If there was ever a day that was made for wine, it's Monday. I don't know exactly when it happened, but at some point in my late twenties, wine became my go-to drink of choice when out and about. I never thought I'd be a wine lady, but I guess dreams really can come true. Typically, my wine drinking escapades are kept to the confines of my home and backyard. Luckily, when I do feel like heading out for a glass or two, Columbus has my back. Here are some awesome places to grab some wine.

Sometimes, you just need a change of scenery. It doesn't matter if it's work or school related, finding a new place to settle down, grab a cup of coffee, and take in a little sunlight can get you through any bout of procrastination. Trust me on this. If there was an Olympics for procrastinating, I'd have a gold medal.
Talking Points β€οΈ
The Crew return β½οΈ
The Columbus Crew
, but I think we're all just glad a home opener was played, regardless of the result. In equally funny and enraging news, everything ran extremely smoothly for the largest home opener crowd since 2012. A fully staffed stadium and an improved entrance process go a long way. The
this year as well, with new player banners, more banners in general, and many other new improvements. And finally, some news I particularly enjoyed:

Short term rental marketing growing up π‘πΈ
Considering renting your home on Airbnb or the like? It'll now cost you
. It's probably not a bad thing for the city to regulate short term rentals, but it's a bit of a bummer for anyone who just wants to dip their toes in and see what it's like.
Another pro football team? π
Not long after the return of the Columbus Destroyers, we have new rumors. TheAAF, a developmental league with ties to the NFL, is apparently doing well enough that some people are talking expansion possibilities,
. Outdoor winter football in Columbus seems like a tough sell for fans, but if they want a non-NFL midwestern city then maybe?
Just how huge is the Arnold? ποΈββοΈ
I love this fact
talking about succession plans as The Arnold founders are getting up there in age (Arnold is 72, while Jim Lorimer is 92): the festival has already booked all 1,000 rooms in the new Hilton expansion. Wow. Attendance for the festival is in the 200k range, and 22k athletes competed this year.
