Hello, Monday! Chelsea here.

I know this weekend had some harrowing moments, but I honestly couldn't be happier to start this week with all of you. With the closure of restaurants and bars around the city, it's important that we all do what we can do to help out. If you're in a position to order carry-out or delivery from your favorite local spots, please do so! They will appreciate it more than you know. I've put together a list of some of my favorite spots around the city that you may not think of right away when ordering take-out. We'll be updating this with new restaurants weekly, so we can spread love (not germs).

If you're hoping to skip the crowded grocery stores, you're not alone. Luckily, there are pick-up and delivery options all around Columbus. Here's a round-up for grocery options that we'll keep updated as we move through this difficult time.

Talking Points ❀️

Working From Home πŸ’»

Working from home is about to be a new-ish experience for many people, and I found this article discussing how best to go about it (really - it's not as simple as it might first seem, as you discover once you've done it for a few days and weeks) to be really, really helpful. I'm a work-from-home veteran and I still found it to be full of useful and actionable suggestions.

Home Made 🧼

Hand sanitizer has disappeared from shelves as you probably now at this point. That's not the worst thing - handwashing is really the best thing to be doing, but sometimes you might be without soap and water. Popular Science has us covered with a way to go about creating sanitizer at home. And if you have kids, this recipe sort of doubles as a science project and demonstration that not everything has to come from a store.

The Experience πŸ’Š

A woman from Cleveland discusses what it's actually like to get coronavirus. I found this useful to showcase the symptoms and what it really is like because there's probably going to be a great deal of anxiety in the next little bit when people get more typical colds or experience seasonal allergies. It also shows how serious the virus is, but I imagine most of us are past the point of needing reinforcement there.
