A beginner’s guide to gettin’ down in the Olde Towne East

Olde Town East has been an up and coming area as long as I've lived in Columbus (nearly 20 years) but I think it's about time it lost that transitional label. The area has filled in nicely in recent years with businesses, restaurants, and bars, and if you haven't checked it out in awhile, you really should. For today's lead Nav story, Zoey Miller takes us on a tour of all the places you'll want to hit up in Olde Town.

The Monday Conversation:The Columbus Dispatch has started an ambitious project envisioning the future of our city called CBus Next. Part 1 focuses on growth and transportation, and every article is worth reading. The care and effort that went into this is apparent. [CBus Next]The Columbus Blue Jackets had the draft this weekend. CBJ selected a hometown player from Powell, but the biggest move was a blockbuster trade they made for Chicago Blackhawks player Artemi Panarin. Veteran NHL writer John Shannon called Panarin "one of the top 10 players in the National Hockey League". [1st Ohio Battery]If you're excited by that news, the Blue Jackets also announced their 2017-2018 regular season schedule.
