Hello, Monday! Chelsea here.

If you’ve been a subscriber here for a while, you likely know all about Kahiki Supper Club. The very abbreviated story is that there used to be an incredible place in Columbus, known mostly as simply Kahiki, where tiki culture reigned supreme. It was campy and over the top and entertaining, and ever since it was torn down, people can’t stop talking about it. (It’s me, I’m “people”.) For those of us who never got to experience Kahiki for ourselves, weekends like the one coming up in Lancaster are pretty spectacular. Fairfield County is hosting Bottoms Up, a celebration of midcentury glassware, and a tiki takeover will have you feeling like you’re transported to the days when Kahiki was everything.
