Welcome back to another week, friends. I can't believe it's already the end of July, but if I'm being honest, I am so looking forward to August. There are a lot of fun things happening around the city next month, including the return of one of my favorite Columbus festivals. If you've never been to the Columbus Food Truck Fest, this should be the year you change that. There's such a fun variety of food to try, plus some of your favorite local bands will be playing live.

It’s Black Restaurant Week In Columbus

Several local, Black-owned restaurants will be participating in Black Restaurant Week. This national celebration of Black food got started in Texas in 2016 and some of our favorite local eateries will be participating this year.

I don't have kids, but as a former nanny, I can remember that mid-summer adventure slump. If you feel like you're missing that early-summer spark (going to all the parks, keeping the snack shelf well organized, planning creative activities) don't feel bad because you definitely aren't alone. Here's a fun adventure to take the kids on that will keep them entertained and burn off a little energy.
