This French-Inspired Home Will Leave You Saying "Ooh la la" πŸ‘😍

Public Art In Columbus

Happy Monday! Chelsea here.

Columbus has some beautiful houses. I think we've made that pretty clear by now. But every now and then, one pops up that I just honestly can't believe is right here in town. This French Empire-style home was built in 1920 and walking through the front door has to feel like stepping back in time in France. Plus, I would be remiss not to mention that insane Carriage House. The potential is unreal.

When I look back on 2020, one of the things I will grateful for is the fact that dealing with a pandemic has really forced me to get out and explore more of my own metaphorical backyard. I've loved getting to discover new spots around Columbus and this little gem is only about 40 minutes away from Columbus. What a true hidden gem.

Talking Points ❀️

Spare Change πŸ’Έ

If you've been shopping lately, you've probably noticed many stores are having trouble when it comes to handing out change. This is why.

This is one of those links where if you're into it, you'll be very into it, and I found it to be delightful. The Big Ten Network sat down with former Buckeyes Joshua Perry, Michael Bennett, Tyvis Powell, Cardale Jones, Evan Spencer, and J.T. Barrett and had them go through some of the most pivotal moments from the 2014 National Championship campaign.

Coronavirus Roundup πŸ’Š

  • Governor DeWine appeared on Meet the Press on Sunday morning and said 'We're going the wrong way' on COVID infections. He also said more orders would be coming this week and that "Florida and Arizona could be our future" if we don't change course. Click here for the full interview. (NBC News)

  • Columbus City Schools may have to walk back their plan for a "blended" opening on September 8th, because of increased infections in the area. (Dispatch)

  • According to an unpublished report from the White House Coronavirus Task Force, Ohio should be closing bars and gyms at current levels of infection. (Dispatch)

  • Governor DeWine hasn't taken steps yet towards another shutdown, but it may not matter as some places are closing voluntarily, including the Apple stores at Easton and Polaris. Their websites say they "look forward to resuming full operations as soon as it’s safe to do so."

I think this is my second drone shot of Franklin Park Conservatory in the last couple of weeks, but how could I pass on this fun shot? 🌸🌼
