The 10 Best Diners In Columbus That We All Know And Love β€οΈπŸ³

Happy Monday! It's Chelsea.

Call me old-fashioned, but there's no restaurant I love more than a diner. For one thing, I feel like most diners offer some sort of breakfast all day long, which is honestly the best meal ever invented. Diners are also usually pretty casual and if you go to one long enough, you get to become a regular and get the full-on "where everybody knows your name" experience. My go-to when it comes to the diner experience is German Village Coffee Shop. I love everything about it, especially the staff, who always make me feel right at home. So here's a shout out to all of the amazing diners in Columbus, feeding us and making us feel special.

From the first moment I heard about the Holiday Sleepover Program, I knew it was going to be a success. But I'm happy to report that the data is in and soooo many awesome pups found their forever homes thanks to the program.

Did you party a little too hard this weekend? If there were ever a city to be hungover in, it's Columbus. Here are a few ways to ditch the headache and attempt to have a semi-productive day.

Talking Points ❀️

All with prices over $1.7 mil...

This list of 2018's most expensive central Ohio homes sales is totally our jam. I've always loved #1, and I'd call it one of the most famous Columbus area homes.

Like an Uber just for prenatal moms...

A pilot program aiming to combat high infant mortality rates will start this June in Columbus and will involve on-demand rides to the doctor as well as assistance with daily errands like runs to the pharmacy and grocery store. Over 500 women will participate and the program is being funded, in part, by the $50 million Smart City grant received by Columbus in 2016.

614's Interviews issue...

Some of the interviews I enjoyed from 614's latest issue (the "Interview Issue"):

(author of "

Tigerland

"),

(mixologist/entrepreneur w/Middle West Spirits),

(doctor, and highly recommend this one for his story of a teenage Sharma meeting Bob Pollard (Guided By Voice) and Kim Deal (The Pixies, The Breeders), but the rest is also terrific),

(Olentangy Paddle, and someone who maybe should run for office), and finally, if you only read one,

(Chris Bradley's spouse and founder

). ❀️
