Happy Monday! Chelsea here.

I'm sure you all remember my unwavering excitement about the Jim Henson exhibit at COSI last year. Well, prepare yourselves, because I'm about to reach that level again. COSI is premiering a brand new exhibit next week and it's all about DC superheroes. My Wonder Woman obsession is causing me to count down the days. Am I the target demo for this exhibit? Probably not. Does that mean I won't be there taking my photos at the Hall of Justice? Absolutely I will be.

Navigator Feature Story:

Navigator Originals ✏️

 πŸ°

Have you ever wondered what 9 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 13k square feet looks like in a mansion? Wonder no more. This gigantic home has some truly stunning features, including a foyer fit to receive royal guests.

 πŸŒ¨β„️

If you were alive, there's no way that you don't have a story to tell about the epic Blizzard of 1978. And even if you weren't alive, you've probably heard your parents and grandparents tell their stories so many times that they feel like your own. It's hard to imagine this much snow in Columbus, considering we've barely had flurries this year, but it happened and it left a lasting mark on just about everyone who experienced it.

It's the last week of January, friends. Don't waste it by staying in, because there's a lot going on around town.

Did you know Tourism Ohio puts out an annual Ohio travel guide? It's free and pretty useful. You can snag it at the link below, along with a 2020 Ohio Calendar of Events.

How The Other Half Lives πŸ’Έ

This is a phenomenal essay, both the writing and the subject matter. It's from a Columbus ridesharing driver with a degree from Ohio State and I can't sum it up further, but it's one of the best things I've read about Columbus in years.  So much to think about here.

The Christopher Inn πŸ—

Save this link for when you have a few minutes and want to become infuriated at how, for decades, Columbus seemingly made it a priority to bulldoze buildings with character. Or, maybe that's just my pet peeve, and you just want to learn the history of an extremely interesting building, the Christopher Inn, a 14 story circular hotel that was torn down in 1988. Either way!
