I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I’m so excited to be back at it, especially since I get to start my morning off with all of you. I think by now you all know how much I love this city, but even I like to get out of town now and then. This winter, there are so many nearby road trip destinations where you can make the most out of the season, with winter sports, cozy cabins, and more. I will say that when I say “nearby”, I’m using it in the most midwestern sense… aka it’s less than 8 hours away. Get out there and explore, Columbus.

In the spirit of embracing all of the wonderful things winter has to offer, why not hit up one of the coolest festivals around? One of the most fascinating things about humans is our ability to turn almost anything into art. I cannot get over how cool these ice sculptures are, or how much talent they must require to create!

5 Magical Winter Hikes Around Columbus ❄️
As we shake free of these frigid, arctic temperatures, it will be a great time to get out and explore some of our city’s most beautiful parks. They’re especially gorgeous this time of year, even if that beauty isn’t as obvious in Winter. Do you have a favorite hiking spot around Columbus? It’s hard to top hikes that have views of a herd of bison, but I’d love to hear about your favorites.
