New restaurant Belgian Iron has the wildest waffles you'll ever see 😍😍

Happy Monday! It's Chelsea.

I hope you all enjoyed this snowy weekend as much as I did. If you didn't I can tell you the main difference between our weekends: I started mine with waffles. And not just any waffles. I got to go to the opening of Belgian Iron, the fanciest and most deliciously satisfying waffle joint in Columbus. They've just opened up in the Short North, and let me tell you! That was an experience worth having. My favorite part is that they call them "wafels". It's cute and I love it. Don't @ me! 😂😍

Entertainment ticket tax opponents missed the deadline for a referendum challenge to the 5% ticket tax, meaning it should now go forward starting July 1st.

Local government failing when it comes to Columbus' tree canopy...

Columbus is the

in the country, a phenomenon which can be slowed down with tree plantings. A plan is in place to do just that, with a city program aiming to plant 300,000 trees by next year, but someone has dropped the ball. Fewer than 40,000 trees have been planted since the tree planting program was created in 2015.
