Welcome to February! Chelsea here.
It's always nice to start your week off with something worth getting excited about, and I think we may have just the ticket. Amtrak announced that they're pursuing five new passenger routes in Ohio, and if these come to fruition, this will be an absolute gamechanger for the Buckeye state. Can you imagine how fantastic it would be to just hop on a train for a day trip to Cincinnati or Cleveland? Because I can and it would be wonderful.

The COSI Science Festival has been one of my favorite additions to the Columbus festival scene, and I'm so excited that they're going ahead with the festival in its virtual format this year. Prepare for me to be unapologetically nerdy in early May, friends.

Could a $15 minimum wage be a reality here in Ohio? There are multiple efforts underway to raise the minimum wage here, which is currently $8.80.

We talked about Chestnut Ridge Metro Park a little bit last week and here's another great example of how beautiful it can be. And really, anytime it snows, it's a great idea to think "metro park" first thing. They're all so peaceful and pretty in the snow. βοΈβοΈ
