The Best Restaurants In Every Columbus Suburb 😍🍝🍔

Happy New Year's Eve! It's Chelsea.

Since we won't have a newsletter tomorrow morning, I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy New Year! We can't tell you how much we've appreciated having you with us every morning and we're looking forward to an awesome 2019 with all of you. Now let's move on before I get too sentimental. Everyone talks about how Columbus is such a great food city, but what we don't always mention is that our suburbs have some pretty darn fantastic places themselves. We've compiled a list of the best restaurants in the suburbs, and let me tell you, there are some hidden gems on here. (Well, they probably aren't hidden if you live in the burbs)

After a long fight, it was finally announced that the Columbus Crew will be remaining here. Major props to our local government, business partners, and of course, the Save The Crew movement. Get caught up to speed above.

Getting an Uber or Lyft can get a little pricey on New Year's Eve. Tonight, you can stay safe for free thanks to Root Insurance. They'll be running special cars all night that are offering rides for free. Oh, did I mention, there's also free pizza involved? It's not too good to be true, I promise!

The Ohio Legislature in 2018...

Did not cover itself in glory. A payday lending scandal and petty fights about the House speaker role dominated the news. In more positive news, a bipartisan Congressional redistricting plan passed (we'll have to see if it does much), puppy mills were restricted, and road safety was addressed with a crackdown on texting while driving.

One last 2018 law is just waiting for John Kasich's signature. It would make 18 the minimum age for marrying in Ohio. Did you know marrying age in Ohio is already 18 for men, but just 16 for women?
